Join the team at The New Inn, a stylish gastropub serving freshly prepared British cuisine and drinks. As an apprentice, you’ll support daily food and beverage service, ensuring guests enjoy a warm, welcoming experience in a busy, customer-focused environment whilst completing Food and Beverage Team Member Level 2.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet guests promptly and courteously, presenting menus and offering knowledgeable recommendations.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring a professional and friendly dining experience.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout service, addressing any concerns promptly.
• Clear and reset tables, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in all dining areas.
• Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations consistently.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and effective service.
• Support opening and closing procedures, including setup, cleaning, and stock checks.
Desired Personal Qualities:
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Entry Requirements:
• No prior experience required
Working Hours:
Variable shifts including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, in line with business needs and service demands. 30 hours per week
