Crynodeb

This role sits within a dynamic team that plays a vital part in supporting how the British Army learns from experience and improves its approach to safety. The wider business area is focused on making sure our people stay safe while doing their jobs, whether that’s on operations, in training or in day-to-day duties. By capturing insights, sharing learning and ensuring clear reporting, we help shape better decisions and safer outcomes across the Army.

Main Responsibilities include:

To manage and oversee the routine performance of MySafety including an appropriate quality management system including security rating
To allocate MySafety permissions as requested / authorised
Identify improvements to Business Processes & system changes
To act as the MySafety information security officer including:

Undertaking user community (role-based permissions)
Validity and security checks
Undertaking system security checks
Develop and maintain regular MySafety performance reports (availability and reliability)
Ensuring MySafety compliance with regulatory requirements
To coordinate and cohere MySafety requests for change and upgrades on behalf of the Army
To liaise with Army HQ agencies as required such as Army Data Analysis Team
To represent the Army with the appointed delivery agency
To deputise for and support the Safety Organisational Learning and Army Reporting (SOLAR) Higher Executive Officer roles as directed
