Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting apprenticeship programmes? CITB is looking for a Funding and Compliance Apprenticeship Administrator to join our Peterborough team and play a key role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of our apprenticeship funding processes.
Role: Funding and Compliance Apprentice Administrator
Office Location: Any CITB site, with the option for a blended working approach, agreed with your Line Manager
Hours of Work: Full-time (35 hours per week)
Working Pattern: Business operating hours are between 08:00 – 18:00.
Contract: Fixed Term contract for one year
Grade: TM2
Target Salary: £28,784 per annum
What You’ll Be Doing:
As part of the Funding and Compliance team, your duties will include:
Checking learner folders to ensure all required documentation is present for internal and external audits.
Auditing learner files to identify anomalies and coordinating rectifications.
Reviewing Apprenticeship Agreements, Training Plans/Commitment Statements, Off-the-Job training records, prior learning evidence, and learner eligibility.
Liaising with training delivery staff
Logging, storing, and checking documentation from multiple sources and teams.
Managing relevant mailboxes, responding to queries, and escalating issues as needed.
Ensuring funding claims comply with funding body regulations.
Your Experience:
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Experience in English apprenticeship administration, funding compliance, or education sector support
Knowledge of Apprenticeships in England
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple data sources
Confident communicator with the ability to liaise across teams
Proficient in Microsoft Office and data systems
