Job Purpose: 
TESTQ Technologies is an IT services and Solutions Company whose offerings span over a variety of industry sectors with strong technical, domain, and process expertise helping clients grow their businesses and decrease operational costs on a continuous basis in an ever-changing business environment. 
This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for Quality Analyst who will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing technical solutions to enhance business operations. To collaborate closely with various stakeholders including business users, project managers, and IT teams to gather requirements, propose solutions, and ensure successful implementation. It will involve troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing systems and processes, and supporting project lifecycles from inception to completion.

Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities): 
Analyze business and technical requirements to develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Perform manual and automated testing on web, mobile, and desktop applications to identify defects and ensure software quality.
Validate new features and regression test existing functionalities to ensure stability across releases.
Work closely with developers and product teams to reproduce issues, track defects, and verify bug fixes.
Create and maintain testing artifacts including test plans, test cases, test data, and test scripts.
Develop and maintain automated test suites using testing frameworks and tools.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups.
Monitor and report on test execution status, bug trends, and overall product quality.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure that all testing activities follow industry best practices and organizational QA standards.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment] 
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in a Quality Analyst, Software Tester, or QA Engineer role.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, smoke, and user acceptance testing.
Experience in writing and executing manual test cases and automated test scripts.
Knowledge of bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, qTest, or Zephyr.
Familiarity with test automation tools like Selenium, Postman, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, or Playwright.
Experience in API testing and validation using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Swagger.
Proficiency in SQL for data validation and back-end testing.
Familiarity with basic programming/scripting in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated testing into build processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
Knowledge of performance, load, or security testing is a plus (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for documenting test results and reporting issues.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, Agile team environment.
Adaptable and capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Certifications (Preferred): ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL), Certified Agile Tester (CAT), CSTE – Certified Software Tester

Salary: GBP 42000 to 55000 per annum
