This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for Technical Analyst who will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing technical solutions to enhance business operations. To collaborate closely with various stakeholders including business users, project managers, and IT teams to gather requirements, propose solutions, and ensure successful implementation. It will involve troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing systems and processes, and supporting project lifecycles from inception to completion.
Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities):
Design and implement technical solutions that align with organizational objectives while adhering to industry best practices and standards.
Conduct comprehensive testing—including unit, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT)—to validate functionality, performance, and quality.
Develop, configure, and integrate software solutions tailored to meet specific business needs and requirements.
Provide ongoing application support by diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation such as system architecture diagrams, process workflows, and operational manuals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams—developers, project managers, and business stakeholders—to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery of projects.
Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities for process optimization, recommending and implementing technical improvements to enhance overall system performance and maintainability.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
2+ years of experience as a Technical Analyst or in a similar technical role supporting software development or IT projects.
Proficient in programming and scripting languages including Java, Python, SQL, JavaScript, and Shell scripting.
Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and modern development frameworks.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, and Bitbucket.
Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, and Firebase.
Proficient with data visualization and BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.
Knowledge of ETL processes and tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica).
Understanding of data warehousing technologies including Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, and Google BigQuery.
Familiar with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, Postman, and TestNG.
Experience with API testing and validation using tools like Swagger, SoapUI, and Postman.
Understanding of unit, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT) processes.
Familiar with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Exposure to cloud services such as Lambda, S3, EC2, Azure Functions, and Cloud SQL.
Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, and Ansible.
Experience with build tools such as Maven and Gradle.
Experience working with ERP, CRM, and other enterprise platforms.
Familiarity with integration tools and platforms like MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Zapier, and Workato.
Understanding of RESTful and SOAP APIs—design, integration, and testing.
Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and use of tools like Jira, Confluence, and Trello.
Strong documentation skills using MS Office Suite, especially Advanced Excel (macros, pivot tables, Power Query), Visio, and Lucidchart.
Ability to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Understanding of networking protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS).
Exposure to machine learning concepts and tools such as TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, and Jupyter Notebooks.
Knowledge of scripting for task automation using Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
Certified Technical Professional (CTP) – preferred.
Additional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Scrum Master, Data Analyst certs) are a plus.
