Millfield School is seeking a Day House Manager to work during term time in The Lakes and Overleigh girls’ day houses.
As a Day House Manager, you will be joining a small team of staff who work together to ensure that the pupils feel safe, secure and at home, whilst also playing a pivotal part in making sure the house runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key duties will include supervising pupils in the house, general tidying and managing the upkeep of the house, ordering food and distributing snacks, and assisting pupils with day-to-day tasks such as mending uniforms, basic first aid and sorting lost property.
The role is for a total of 38.5 hours per week during term time (32.6 working weeks per year) working 2pm to 6.30pm Monday and Tuesday, 8am to 6.30pm Thursday and Friday and 8am to 4.30pm Saturday. We are happy to receive applications from candidates wishing to work the full hours, as well as those interested in a potential job share arrangement (with the hours split between two people if possible).
The rate of pay is £12.89 per hour which equates to a salary of £17,723.32 per annum (inclusive of statutory holiday pay).
