Summary
Millfield School is seeking a Day House Manager to work Saturdays during term time in a year 9 mixed day house.
As a Day House Manager, you will be joining a small team of staff who work together to ensure that the pupils feel safe, secure and at home, whilst also playing a pivotal part in making sure the house runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key duties will include supervising pupils in the house, general tidying and managing the upkeep of the house, ordering food and distributing snacks, and assisting pupils with day-to-day tasks such as mending uniforms, basic first aid and sorting lost property.
This role is for Saturdays during term time (27 Saturdays per year), with hours from 7:45am to 6:00pm. We welcome applications from candidates who wish to work the full day, as well as from those interested in a job share arrangement, where two people divide the day between them.
The salary is £12.89 per hour which equates to £4,201.50 per annum for the full day (inclusive of holiday pay).
