Summary
Millfield School is looking for a caring, organised, and approachable individual to join our pastoral team as a Country House Supervisor. This role is central to the daily life of one of our day houses, providing supervision and support to pupils during the school day while ensuring the smooth running of the house.
You will be responsible for a range of duties including managing supplies and food deliveries, signing pupils in and out, and liaising with parents and staff. A key part of the role is offering a supportive presence for pupils — someone they can turn to for advice, help, or simply a friendly chat.
This is a varied and rewarding position, ideal for someone with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in young people’s wellbeing. If you’re proactive, reliable, and enjoy being part of a busy school environment, we would love to hear from you.
The hours of work are 10.45am – 7pm Friday and 10.45am – 2.15pm Saturday during term time. The salary is £5,190.40 per annum (inclusive of statutory holiday pay).
We also provide an array of staff benefits, including freshly prepared lunches for a nominal fee of £10 per month, access to our exceptional school facilities, and attractive discounts/cashback on a wide range of high street shops and restaurants through the school's Employee Assistance Programme.
**Please note that applications will be considered on receipt, and as a result the vacancy may close early should an appointment be made. As such we would recommend submitting your application as soon as possible**
