Summary

Class 1 HGV Driver (Nights) - £17.50 per hour - Darwen

We are currently seeking flexible and professional Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to provide ad-hoc holiday and sickness cover for a well-established transport operation in Darwen. This is a straightforward trunking role, ideal for drivers who prefer simple runs with no multi-drops.

Location: Darwen
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 19:00 start times
Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour
Type of Work: Ad-hoc - holiday/sickness cover

The Role

  • Nightly trunk run from Darwen down to Lichfield depot

  • Tip the trailer on arrival

  • Wait to be called back in (usually within 1-2 hours)

  • Reload and return directly to Darwen

  • No handball, no multi-drop - just straightforward trunking work
