Norwegian Speaking Customer Service Advisor - Hybrid Working

Newport | £27,000 per annum | Full-Time | Monday to Friday | Permanent | Hybrid Role

Acorn by Synergie is seeking a Norwegian-speaking Customer Service Advisor to join our client's dynamic Operations team based in Newport. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, forward-thinking company offering hybrid working, excellent benefits, and a supportive team environment.

About the Role:

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for Norwegian-speaking customers, supporting them through the insurance process with care, professionalism, and efficiency. You'll also be responsible for handling claims, ensuring all documentation and communications are accurate and in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service:
  • Manage inbound enquiries from customers, brokers, and insurers.
  • Accurately input insurance data into internal systems.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and respond within agreed SLAs.
  • Maintain up-to-date, detailed case notes for team collaboration.
  • Handle customer complaints in a professional, empathetic manner.
  • Support and mentor new team members when required.
Claims Handling:
  • Review and gather information on reported claims.
  • Assess documentation, estimate losses, and determine coverage.
  • Maintain accurate records and liaise with insurers on complex cases.
  • Follow up on outstanding documents and provide regular updates.
  • Identify recovery or subrogation opportunities where appropriate.
What We're Looking For:
  • Fluent in Norwegian (spoken and written).
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Previous experience in insurance or claims handling is desirable but not essential.
