Are you an experienced chef with a flair for leadership and a passion for great food? At Aramark, we’re looking for a Chef Manager to take the lead at South Bristol Skills Academy, a vibrant and forward-thinking education setting where no two days are the same.
This is your chance to run your own kitchen, inspire a small team, and make a real impact by delivering fresh, exciting food that fuels students and staff throughout the day.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead the daily kitchen operation – from hot breakfasts to grab-and-go lunches and deli-style options
- Drive food quality, consistency, and presentation, ensuring every plate exceeds expectations
- Own your kitchen’s performance – manage stock, control costs, and deliver accurate financial reports
- Bring creativity to hospitality events and ensure all food is prepared to brand standards
- Motivate and support your team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous development
- Deliver brilliant customer service and resolve any issues with professionalism and care
What You Bring to the Table:
- A recognised culinary qualification and hands-on kitchen experience – ideally within a school, college, or similar environment
- Confident leadership with a proactive, hands-on approach
- Solid understanding of kitchen finances, from stock control to P&L
- A natural ability to lead, coach, and inspire a team
- Eligibility to pass full security vetting and DBS checks is essential
