We are a unique collaboration between Suffolk County Council and all of Suffolk’s District and Borough Councils – founded on principles of behaviour change, choice, flexibility, and place-based working.
We are recruiting for a Feel Good Suffolk Customer Services Advisor that will work across the service for Ipswich. You will play a key role in ensuring that the service runs efficiently, maintains high standards of customer service, collects and records necessary data, keeps accurate records, and fosters a collaborative culture across multiple partners.
You will work closely with the Feel Good Suffolk Advisors to support case management and update case information, contact customers, monitor the team inbox, and respond to queries, as well as provide support for events to promote the service.
The post holder will need to be organised, self-motivated and have good administrative and/or organisational skills. We are looking for someone who can work well as part of a high-performing team and collaborate with a wide range of colleagues. You will have strong written and verbal communication, good attention to detail, be skilled in managing time effectively to prioritise tasks, and be proficient in data entry, cleansing and reporting.
Hours of work are 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This role requires flexibility to travel to venues across Ipswich, and on occasion Suffolk-wide, and the ability to work some evenings and weekends to meet service need.
As well as a competitive salary, the Council offers Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) membership, subsidised parking for work and leisure, public transport discounts, free swimming and gym membership, cycle purchase scheme, learning and development opportunities, flexible working opportunities, wellbeing support, lifestyle benefits and the opportunity to work with great colleagues.
