Our client, a respected organisation in the not-for-profit sector, is seeking a Finance Officer to join their finance team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a strong financial background to contribute to a meaningful cause while maintaining a flexible working schedule.Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and producing reports for senior leadership. This position is ideal for someone with a solid grasp of QuickBooks and a proactive approach to financial analysis.


Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Support: Assist the Finance Manager with day-to-day financial tasks and reporting
  • Budget Monitoring: Analyse and verify budget monitoring reports for accuracy and compliance
  • Bank Reconciliation: Check and post reconciliation reports to maintain financial integrity
  • Monthly Reporting: Generate monthly financial reports via QuickBooks for the Board of Directors
  • Revenue Recording: Collect and record payments in line with internal systems


✅ Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in a finance-related role
  • Software Proficiency:
  • QuickBooks (minimum 1 year)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Skills:
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines
