Sizewell C is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Civil Works Programme, supporting the technical delivery of design and engineering solutions that will shape the future of clean energy. About the RoleAs a Project Engineer, you’ll be part of the Engineering & Technical function within the Civil Works Programme, reporting to the Technical Engineering Manager. You’ll work across transverse technical topics, supporting the definition, assurance, and integration of design requirements for reinforced concrete, structural steel, large-scale pre-fabrication and pre-assembly and more. Key responsibilities include:Supporting technical requirements and design validation.Managing design changes and technical governance processes.Assisting with risk management and technical assurance.Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders including Atkins, ICOSH, and EDF Nuclear Services.Delivering transverse engineering topics such as reinforcement detailing and information transfer.This is a hands-on, collaborative role ideal for someone with a background in civil or structural engineering and a passion for large-scale infrastructure. What we’re looking for:Minimum 4 years’ experience in a relevant role within a similar industry (project engineer, site engineer, design engineer, or construction engineer).Experience working in major projects within the civils industry.Degree in Civils or Structural Engineering (MSc or specialisation preferred but not essential).Chartered or working towards chartership (ICE/IStructE professional qualifications or equivalent)Strong stakeholder engagement and technical collaboration skills.Ability to work well in a fast paced environment.
