ZAM FM are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Escort to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Security Escort is to ensure the safety and security of contractors within designated areas, providing a reassuring presence while monitoring for any potential security threats. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to respond effectively to various situations, ensuring a secure environment for all.
Duties
Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to monitor for suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Escort individuals safely through premises, particularly in high-risk or sensitive areas.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing assistance when necessary.
Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
Collaborate with client management and emergency services when required.
Requirements
Proven experience in security roles or related fields is preferred.
Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively report incidents.

Potential candidate MUST possess a valid SIA Door Supervisor or Close Protection license.
Due to the semi-remote nature of the client's site, this position would suit a driver or someone with the willingness to car share.
The ability to communicate clearly over hand-held radios as well as provide legible written reports is ESSENTIAL.
Potential candidates must possess or be willing to complete an Enhanced DBS check with access to live check service.
