Role title: Security Team Leader

Salary: up to £35,000 (up to £16.78/hour)

Hours: Five days over seven (7am-7pm) (40 hours)

Location: BCA Blackbushe, Camberley

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to take responsibility for providing security for staff and assets at the UK’s highest volume remarketing centre.

Your key responsibilities will be:


Working with the Maintenance & Security Manager on all aspects required to maintain and improve branch security and safety.
Engage with and manage third party security contractors.
Audit security of site through spot checks and other appropriate means to ensure that the company standards are met at all times.
Be responsible for the direct supervision of BCA staff as well as directing subcontracted Security Staff in their duties.
Have regular contact with the Duty Manager (M&S) in relation to your duties and liaise closely with him about security issues as they develop.
Action any security issues or requirements so that they are resolved in a timely fashion; escalating when required.
Recruit, train, mentor, review and improve the branch security team.
Implement, manage and record required staff training across the dept.
Maintain and manage servicing of security and fire safety equipment on site.
Support the Centre Manager / Department heads on ad hoc tasks
Take on other responsibilities outside of normal role as required


To be successful, you’ll bring some of the following experience with you:


Security industry experience.
Leadership skills in running security teams and managing 3rd Party contractors.
Proven ability to work with fellow stake holders to provide security of assets and staff whilst delivering operational success.
Full Driving Licence.
CCTV Experience (desirable)
First Aid Qualification (desirable)
