Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?

We are seeking a qualified Trainer to deliver internal and accredited training across the contract, including SHEA Water and Water Hygiene, with plans to expand into areas like First Aid and Fire Safety. The role involves delivering engaging sessions in various formats, maintaining accurate training records, and ensuring compliance with EUSR standards and legislation. You’ll support competency-based training plans, assess effectiveness, and promote a culture of safety and development. Collaboration with internal teams and maintaining EUSR certification are key, along with staying current on training techniques to enhance programme quality and support business improvement.
What you’ll bring

- A minimum of 2 years working within an operational capacity on the water infrastructure network.
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or equivalent (PTLLS/CTLLS/DTLLS).
- Strong understanding of water sector health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Experience delivering accredited or internal technical training programs to adult learners.
- Experience with developing training plans.

Working Conditions:

- Travel to operational sites and client premises will be required.
- Training delivery will be conducted in a mix of classroom, field, and virtual environments.
- Occasional work in active operational environments (e.g., treatment works, construction sites).
