The Temporary Accommodation Service and the Refuge aims to help vulnerable clients by providing them with temporary accommodation and assist clients to secure and move into their own accommodation supporting them in a holistic and trauma informed way and building partnerships with external agencies.
The role includes providing a reception service outside normal office hours and respond to residents’ requests and enquiries within established parameters. Ensure the security of the building and residents by checking the identity of callers to the building, recording all admissions and departures and allowing access only to residents and authorised visitors. Carry out regular checks of the communal areas and the grounds removing rubbish and debris as required. Carry out cleaning and caretaking duties when required to do so, including the cleaning of empty flats, washing of linen and towels, and removal of bulky refuse.

Applicants to posts that are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act will require a DBS from the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.
