Your Role
As a Facilities Operations Assistant, you will work ina team responsible for the operation of safe. clean and inviting bus stations and interchanges across Greater Manchester. The Facilities Operations Assistant role is vital and they are responsible for cleaning our sites (including public toilets and other customer facilities). They also support the rest of the team to make sure the sites operate safely and efficiently. All of this helps to make sure that the our customers have a great Bee Network experience every time they use our facilities. You will become a key member of the Facilities Operations team and play a big part in the delivery of TfGM Facilities Operations objectives. This is a shift working role and involvesweekend working. Normal duty hours are between 0700 2300 Monday to Saturday, 1000 1700 on Sundays and 1000 1800 on Public Holidays.

Facilities Operations are responsible for the safe operation of TfGM's operational sites and for providing face to face help and assistance to the customers of the Bee Network.We are a frontline team for TfGM and the Bee Network and play a crucial role in the delivery of the Bee Network ensuring theservices and facilities remain accessible, safe and reliable.

You’ll have experience in an operational/customer service role in a busy, bustling, vibrant environment and you’ll recognise the requirements and demands of providing excellent customer service to different audiences. You’ll know what the Bee Network is all about and the role that TfGM operational staff play in the delivery of the network. In this role you will be using a mobile device to assist you in producing records and reports, you’ll need some experience of using Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
What we can offer you
We have permanent roles available with a salary starting at £26,744 per annum plus 15% shift allowance, this means that as you’ll work on a rostered basis, we’ll add an extra 15% onto your total pay for the month (not just for certain shifts).
