The Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the Management Team in delivering the smooth and efficient running of the Security Service. There is something for everyone at this stunning destination and we are looking for high calibre SIA Licensed Security Personnel to join our Team.The roles are diverse, interesting, busy and vibrant in line with the nature of the destination. This impressive new refurbished building is located near St Pauls and will offer over 180,000 sq. ft of accommodation with floorplates ranging from 15,000 sq. ft to 29,000 sq. ft, suitable for a range of users from major trading floor operations to more agile and creative sectors.Information:Position: Security SupervisorLocation: London (EC4M) Pay Rate: £15.79 per hourHours: Average 56 hours per week Shifts: 3 Days, 3 Nights, 3 Off - Days & Nights Job Requirements:SIA Licence requiredExperience as a Team Leader/Supervisor is requiredExcellent communication both written & verbal & customer serviceReliable, Responsible and PunctualTo have a smart appearance befitting the companyFlexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Outlook and ExcelBe calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional mannerAble to work as part of a team as well as on your ownBe confident you are able to undertake 100% of all specific duties Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requestedJob Responsibilities:To be responsible for the deployment of the security team to ensure that a satisfactory security presence is always maintained on site as required by the customer.To ensure that all security personnel always adhere to their duties and policies and procedures of the site and report any breach of these immediately to the Security Manager or the Account Manager/Director.To ensure the highest standards of customer care are maintained all times when dealing with staff and visitors to the site.Liaise regularly with CIS Managers and Supervisors ensuring that they are kept updated on all important aspects.Permit Management for contractors to issue keys and access cardsRegularly audit site equipment & documentation, ensure that site paperwork/equipment is correctly maintained, current and in order.Ensure correct deployment of staff and offer support in the case of absence or holidays to ensure appropriate cover is sourced.To ensure that all security personnel always adhere to their duties and policies and procedures of the site and report any breach of these immediately to the Security Manager.To ensure that discipline is always maintained on shift including the wearing of full uniform and punctuality of officers.To ensure the Handover is checked at the beginning of the shift to ensure all vital details are carried out before their time.To ensure the highest standards of customer care are maintained all times when dealing with staff, students and visitors to the site.Proactively monitor and maintain staff discipline, standards and conduct.To keep a proactive outlook and regular patrol all aspects of the site/sOversee that the contract’s officers are all performing to the required standards and take appropriate actions to remedy any shortfalls. Monitor that patrols are being adequately completed and to the expected frequency.Liaise regularly with CIS Managers and senior Supervisors ensuring that they are kept updated on all important aspects.Regularly audit site equipment & ensure that site paperwork is correctly maintained.Ensure correct deployment of staff.Carry out any reasonable requests made by CIS management.Build a relationship with our main Control Room to both understand each other’s requirementsTo monitor the CCTV cameras within the Security Control RoomArrange for the collation and viewing of CCTV images in response to incident management, in line with the CCTV Code of PracticePrepare and maintain the Security Control Room equipment for operational useEnsure the Security Control Room is kept tidyTo monitor, operate and report all Security Control Room technologies (intruder alarms, access control systems, BMS, fire alarm system, lift intercoms, lift monitoring stations)To be conversant with all life safety systems and assist in responding to all emergencies promptly as illustrated in the Assignment InstructionsInspect equipment for failures and faults, reporting these in line with proceduresMaintain accurate daily electronic occurrence log records (via the CIS HUB)Responsible for the administration of lost & found propertyBook on all members of the security team correctly at the start of each shiftCheck SIA licences & CIS IDs of all oncoming team membersRespond to all incidents in line with policies and proceduresEnsure all incidents and issues are formally investigated and recordedMaintain a high level of morale and discipline within the team, taking into consideration their welfareCarry out training with Security Officer’s and ensure that there are suitable personnel on your shift able to step up and cover your roleBenefits:Health care plan (HSF)Perk Box (HSF) - discounts & offers from cinema tickets to days outCycle to work schemeTailored Site UniformFirst class training allowing you to develop your skillsA view for career developmentLong service & Employee Recognition awardsAnd much more!!A globally recognised Security Solutions Specialist delivering service excellence, to our Customers, Colleagues, and Communities.
