Crynodeb
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to travel widely and engage with capability owners, ensuring that plans for developing new military capabilities are enabled by infrastructure investment. The role provides a focal point for providing direction across the UKStratCom Infrastructure team and provide the UKStratCom voice in Defence level infrastructure policy, estate strategy and organisational change reviews.
You would lead the UKStratCom Infrastructure working level interface with Head Office and the Military Strategic Headquarters. This means having the opportunity to be at the heart of MOD planning of infrastructure investment, supporting the development of plans to invest in accommodation, cutting edge capabilities and increased warfighting readiness.
The role will require excellent communication skills and the successful candidate will need to be comfortable with infrastructure project costing methodologies, preparation of senior briefs, support to policy development, developing analysis and insights reports and working in a complex stakeholder environment to develop a plan to tackle challenging infrastructure problems.
Due to the requirement to understand The Estate, engage with stakeholders and the sensitive nature of much of the work, travel within the UK and overseas will be required. The successful candidate must be willing to travel and must be able to attend their office location as business need requires, this should normally amount to around 60% attendance in person at duty station or other locations. We support flexible working and will work with the needs of the successful candidate.
