Our Client is currently seeking an experienced Estates Surveyor to join their team for a 7-month contract. This hybrid role requires working from home with one day a week (Wednesday) on-site in Nottingham. This is a great opportunity to work on a high-impact estate management portfolio within a structured and outcome-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as landlord or tenant in all property-related matters, including:
Negotiating new leases and renewals
Managing rent reviews
Addressing legal and valuation disputes
Lead property acquisitions aligned with organisational objectives and asset management strategy.
Deliver cost-effective acquisition deals for land and buildings.
Manage freehold and leasehold disposals, optimising capital receipts within set timelines.
Collaborate with operational teams to develop and execute closure strategies.
Provide valuations, appraisals, business cases, and comprehensive property reports.
Essential Criteria:
Degree in Property Surveying (or equivalent)
Proven experience in a professional property role
Strong understanding of:
Property legislation
Estate management
Landlord and tenant relations
Acquisitions, disposals, rent reviews, lease renewals, and terminations
Demonstrable budget and contract management skills, with financial and property-related expertise
