Summary
The Digital Marketing Specialist will lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of digital marketing campaigns to promote the company’s recruitment, relocation, and workforce solutions. This role is responsible for driving measurable online traffic, increasing lead generation, and enhancing the digital presence of the company across web, social media, search, and email platforms.
The ideal candidate is a data-driven marketer with a deep understanding of performance marketing, SEO, paid media, content strategy, and analytics tools.
Responsibilities
Plan and execute multi-channel digital campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, and email marketing platforms to drive candidate registrations and client enquiries.
Manage SEO strategy (on-page and off-page), including keyword optimisation, technical audits, and backlink building.
Optimise website performance through UX improvements, CRO (conversion rate optimisation), and A/B testing.
Track, report, and analyse website traffic, campaign performance, and lead quality using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and HubSpot.
Collaborate with the content and creative teams to develop high-converting landing pages, digital brochures, ads, and recruitment campaign assets.
Set up and manage retargeting, lookalike, and geo-targeted ad campaigns to attract international talent and UK-based clients.
Maintain and improve email marketing workflows (e.g. nurture campaigns, automation sequences, newsletters).
Support recruitment events, job fairs, and virtual marketing campaigns with digital assets and registration tracking.
Conduct competitor analysis and recommend strategic improvements.
Ensure all campaigns adhere to GDPR and digital advertising compliance standards.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within healthcare, staffing, or B2B services.
Strong knowledge of SEO, PPC (Google Ads), social advertising, and CRM/email marketing.
Experience with marketing analytics platforms: Google Analytics, Tag Manager, HubSpot, SEMrush, etc.
Hands-on experience with WordPress, landing page builders, and automation tools (e.g. Mailchimp, Zapier).
Strong understanding of audience segmentation, funnel building, and behavioural targeting.
Excellent copywriting and visual communication skills for digital campaigns.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make actionable recommendations.
Degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Google Ads/Analytics certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
