Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a well-known company based in the Chatham, Kent area who are looking for a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join their team.
The role - Compliance Officer
- Provide administrative support for the delivery of our compliance and Building Safety function, focusing but not limited to, gas servicing, asbestos management, water hygiene, fire safety management, M&E and Building Safety Compliance.
- Ensure effective management of the reactive repairs raised, ensure orders are raised correctly, and administratively closed on the systems, when completed. Identify repeat breakdowns and highlight for the attention of their respective Contracts Manager for further investigation and corrective action.
- Liaise with contractors chasing completion certificates and invoices.
- Programming surveys and inspections, including booking appointments with customers, and ensuring no access policy is adhered to.
- Effectively manage the no access cases, engage with the Landlord Services/Housing Team and ensure these are managed through the No access policy. To assist with preparing paperwork for court appearances.
- Provide and maintain records, including invoicing.
- Provide reports to support the management of the contractors and consultants.
- Provide a support role for contract manager. Build and maintain successful working relationships with contractors, repairs team and investment team.
- To assist the Contract Manager in the day to day running of the contracts, through arranging meetings, taking accurate notes and ensuring effective record keeping
- Undertake post inspections on completed works and ensure works are completed to specification and standards set by the client
