Are you passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care to patients with complex needs and would like to join our expanding ETOC team?
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Enhanced Care Team Coordinator (Band 4) to join our Enhanced Care team at Whipps Cross Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in improving the safety, dignity and experience of patients requiring enhanced levels of supervision, including those living with dementia, delirium, or acute mental health needs.
About the Role:
As the Band 4 Enhanced Care Team Coordinator, you will:
• Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of enhanced care across inpatient areas.
• Lead and support a team of Band 3 Enhanced Care Support Workers, ensuring safe and effective 1:1 care.
• Undertake clinical observations and contribute to care planning in collaboration with the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Complete documentation accurately and escalate any concerns to the appropriate clinical teams.
• Support the Enhanced Care Matron with service audits, training delivery and implementation of quality improvements.
• Act as a role model for compassionate, patient-focused care
We are seeking a caring, organised and proactive individual who:
• Has experience supporting patients in an acute, mental health or complex care setting.
• Demonstrates excellent communication, leadership and teamwork skills.
• Is confident working with patients who may exhibit challenging behaviours.
• Has a strong understanding of safeguarding, de-escalation and risk awareness.
• Can prioritise and coordinate care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
