Gloucestershire Professional Services (GPS) is recruiting 6 Learning Support Assistant to join the dedicated Learning Support team at Gloucestershire College.

In this student-facing role, you’ll work directly with learners who have a range of additional learning needs and disabilities, including dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, autism, and physical impairments. Your support will help them access their curriculum, achieve their goals, and progress confidently through their studies.

Working one-to-one or in small groups, you’ll provide tailored strategies that promote independence, inclusion, and long-term success. Your role will be key in helping learners build confidence, develop autonomy, and work towards meaningful outcomes in education and employment. Every day, you’ll make a real difference in the lives of students by helping them overcome barriers and reach their full potential.

You’ll be part of a diverse and experienced team that includes Learning Support Coordinators, SEND Review Leads, Specialist SEND Assessors, SEND Intervention Mentors, Apprenticeship Support and Liaison Coaches, and fellow Learning Support Assistants. While this is a campus-based role due to its student-facing nature, you’ll benefit from a collaborative and supportive working environment where your contribution is truly valued.
