Job Description
Role – Revenue & Property Officer (Homelessness Services)
Location – GCHSCP, 2 Green Wynd, Glasgow, G40 2TF
Contract Status – Temporary, up to 31 March 2026
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Revenue & Property Officer to join our Revenue & Property team within Homelessness Services at Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP). This is a temporary role up to 31 March 2026, based in a modern, centrally located office, with responsibilities carried out across the city.
The Revenue & Property Team plays a vital role in supporting some of Glasgow’s most vulnerable residents. Working closely with Social Care Workers, the Property Management and Allocation Teams, and external partners, we strive to deliver positive, person-centred outcomes.
This is a challenging yet highly rewarding role, ideal for a dynamic, customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be responsible for managing your own caseload, supporting service users in temporary accommodation, and ensuring they receive the financial support they’re entitled to.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing rent accounts for individuals in temporary accommodation
• Maximising benefit uptake and reducing rent arrears
• Conducting visits and maintaining telephone contact with service users
• Completing essential paperwork for temporary furnished flats, including: Occupancy agreements, Housing Benefit applications and explaining tenancy responsibilities and rules

Experience in Housing Benefit legislation and debt management is desirable.

Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme is essential on taking up appointment. Please note successful candidates for the above role will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.
