The role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Support Assistant to join the Licensing Team.

This role involves general clerical and administrative tasks, supporting Licensing Officers and their supervisors to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.



Key Responsibilities:

To assist the Senior Licensing Officers and Licensing Officers to maintain and develop licensing administration systems, provide information and assistance to Officers in Community Protection
To ensure that manual and computerised records are maintained
To assist in the management and monitoring of service performance through the collection and collation of information and data as required by the Head of Community Protection
To assist in the provision of efficient and effective manual and electronic filing data systems and to ensure that associated tasks such as data input and extraction are completed regularly and effectively
To provide administrative and clerical support
Provide an excellent quality service to all customers, meet relevant targets and performance standards to achieve high standards of service delivery



What the client is looking for:

GCSE Mathematics and English Grades 9 to 4 (A* to C)
NVQ Level 3 or BTEC National in a relevant subject
Experience of general administration and clerical work
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Adaptable and responsive to evolving business needs, and service delivery shifts
Ability to builds strong, productive partnerships across teams, organisations, and sectors
Capable of working effectively under own initiative
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data inputting
Familiarity with IT and digital record-keeping systems (experience with Arcus is a plus)
