Secondary Teaching Assistant - September 2025 Start
Location: Southwark,South East London
Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay: £100 - £120 per day (Daily supply available)
A vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in Southwark is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people in a secondary setting and looking to gain valuable experience in education. The role will involve working closely with teachers and SEN staff to provide academic and pastoral support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Responsibilities include:

Supporting students in class, either 1:1 or in small groups

Assisting with differentiated learning tasks and classroom activities

Helping students develop positive learning behaviours and confidence

Working with pupils with additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties

Supporting with behaviour management and student engagement

Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with secondary-aged students (preferred but not essential)
