Crynodeb

Resource Planning

This will involve identifying where and when resource is needed, support successful recruitment campaigns for all programme and project roles, identify physical requirements for the growing team and provide recommendations to problem solve and flex resource to support the outputs of CCP IPMO.

You will update, manage and deliver the 1-5yr workforce planning model and use this information to baseline programme progress, provide information for effective decision making or identify issues for escalation.
You will support with the development of the CCP training requirements.
You will support budget forecasting, management and allocation in accordance with MOD standards.
You will provide high quality information on workforce to support timely and effective decision making to CCP Senior Leadership Team and the Senior Responsible Owner either at Project/ Programme Boards or ad hoc requests when required.

Recruitment

This will involve leading on all recruitment activities and providing support to each Hiring Manager in order to successfully onboard the best candidates to CCP.

You will support in the prioritising and requesting of resource to meet demands ensuring compliance with employment laws and MOD recruitment policies, and DBS to make sure campaigns are on time
You will work with each hiring manager to understand and fulfil recruitment requirements, using innovative marketing strategies, providing advice on Job adverts, where possible aligning to the Programme Delivery Competency Framework, selection methods and manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle concluding with successful onboarding to the team. This includes managing the communications for all recruitment campaigns and providing the relevant onboarding documentation for each successful campaign.
Collaborate with HR colleagues to share learning and work collaboratively to drive efficiencies to attract and retain the best talent for Clyde Capital Programmes.
You will build and maintain a network of key stakeholders driving collaboration to improve service delivery.
You will develop, review and maintain all recruitment documents and share best practice with the wider CCP teams

Training

Training is an essential requirement for everyone working within the CCP. You will provide SME advice and advance the CCP training strategy for mandatory, role specific and personal development in line with MOD standards and PCDF.

You will develop the CCP Training Strategy.
You will manage the CCP annual review of training requirements and lead on the development of each years bid.
You will use innovative thinking to provide alternative training for the CPP team
You will develop the guidance for required training for each role and use this to support Personal Development Plans for the CPP Team
In line with allocated budget make recommendations to the Head of IPMO on how training requirements can be met
Develop and maintain CCP training registers including Suitably Qualified Experienced People (SQEP) and Nuclear SQEP positions and ensure that all training and Site specific training, membership of professional bodies and certificates are updated and renewed when required.
You will undertake regular reviews of training requirements and use this information to support future planning and funding requests.

IPMO Support

The CCP IPMO is expanding to support all current and emergent programmes within the CCP. The CCP IPMO provides a centralised function and forward deploys resource into the programmes to drive consistency and maintain MOD standards to support successfully programme delivery.

You will support other Function Leads and the Head of IPMO to develop and update strategies, support IPMO initiatives, deputise for other Functional leads and Head of IPMO when required and drive your team to meet the Function outputs.

Leadership

You will inspire, motivate and engage your team to support the CCP IPMO and wider CPP.

Manage and provide leadership support for team members to support delivery of outputs. 
Ensure performance is managed consistently and fairly, including Diversity and Inclusion principles and provide regular feedback.
Identify and develop capability needs, ensuring robust Development Plans are in place for yourself and your team.
Ensure own and team’s compliance with mandatory requirements.
Work with other teams across the CCP IPMO, CCP and HMNB Clyde establishment community, by providing positive working environment and empowering the teams at all levels.
Provide support to Line Manager and Programme Director to deliver departmental outputs with minimal supervision.
