HEO Assurance (2) (MT) principal tasks are:
Provide independent to chain of command, advice and assurance of RN Road Transport (inc DMHE) Safety, Health and Environmental Protection Management organisation and arrangements to the DACOS Land Logs via SEO Assure MT and the relevant Commanding Officers / Heads of Establishments.
To be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for advice & guidance for Road Transport policy, process and requirements, to ensure compliance with UK, and where required host nation, legislative and MOD policy requirements.
To undertake 2 Line of Defence Assurance and specific functional audits, independently and as part of a team, as directed by SEO Assure. Provide a written report of the specific review highlighting findings and providing recommendations where appropriate.
To represent SEO MT Assure at Committees, Meetings and Groups as required.
