Are you an experienced nurse with a passion for clinical leadership and delivering exceptional care? We're looking for a confident and capable Clinical Deputy Manager to join our dedicated team in a well-established care home. This is an ideal opportunity for a Clinical Lead or Deputy Nurse Manager ready to take the next step in their career.
About the Role of Clinical Deputy Manager
As Clinical Deputy, you'll work alongside the Home Manager to lead and support a committed team of nurses and carers. Your focus will be on maintaining the highest clinical standards, driving compliance, and ensuring safe, person-centred care across the home. With your clinical expertise and leadership skills, you'll also play a key part in mentoring staff, auditing practices, and overseeing day-to-day operations.
You'll also have the flexibility to support sister homes locally when required - for this reason, a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
What We're Looking For in out Clinical Deputy Manager
• NMC Registered Nurse - Adult, Mental Health, or Learning Disabilities
• Previous experience as a Clinical Lead or Deputy in a care home setting
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Sound knowledge of CQC regulations and clinical governance
• Confident in wound care, medication management, and health assessments
• Organised, proactive, and IT literate
• A natural mentor with a passion for developing others
• Reliable and flexible with the ability to support across multiple sites
Qualifications & Experience required for the Clinical Deputy Manager
• NMC Registered Nurse with post-registration clinical experience
• Proven background in leading care teams and delivering high-quality care
