We are currently seeking enthusiastic and confident Unqualified Teachers to support secondary schools in East Leake and surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a passion for teaching and education, who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience and take their first steps into the profession.
The RoleAs an Unqualified Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering lessons to students across a variety of subjects, using materials provided by the school. You’ll create a positive learning environment, manage behaviour in the classroom, and support students to stay engaged and on task — all without the pressure of full planning or marking. This role offers a great pathway for those working towards teacher training or looking for long-term opportunities in education.
Key Responsibilities-
Deliver pre-prepared lessons across KS3 and KS4 in a range of subjects

Manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning culture

Ensure students remain focused and complete set work

Provide support and guidance as needed during lessons

Communicate feedback to school staff on student progress and conduct
Minimum RequirementsWe’re looking for passionate and reliable individuals who meet the following:

Education: A minimum of a Level 3 qualification (A-Levels or equivalent); a degree is desirable but not essential

Experience: Previous experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, youth work, mentoring, coaching)

Strong communication and classroom presence

Confident, adaptable, and able to take initiative

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

DBS: Must have or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check (Child Workforce). If not registered to the update service, this may involve a cost.
