As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them access learning and rebuild positive relationships with school. What You’ll Be Doing:
• Providing targeted classroom and pastoral support to SEMH learners
• Building rapport and trust with students who need emotional guidance
• Supporting pupils’ access to the curriculum in small groups or 1:1
• Reinforcing positive behaviour, engagement and routines
• Working collaboratively with SEN staff, therapists, and class teachers
• Assisting with intervention programmes focused on social skills and confidence
