Murray Recruitment are recruiting an Administrator for our client based in Paisley.
Role Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and fast-paced SME within the reactive maintenance industry. Working alongside a part-time colleague and reporting directly to the Director, this role is crucial in supporting the day-to-day operations and ensuring smooth coordination between office functions and field engineers. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a busy environment, delivering excellent administrative and customer service support.
Key Responsibilities
Handle incoming calls and emails, recording details of blockages and customer requirements
Prepare and issue quotes; follow up with customers to confirm bookings
Coordinate job details and dispatch to relevant engineers
Support engineers with documentation, job card management, and payment tracking
Issue invoices where required and maintain accurate customer records
Utilise Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, WhatsApp chat, and Dropbox to manage daily operations
Monitor and manage online enquiry streams to avoid missed jobs
Provide general administrative support to the Director and wider team
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in an administrative or office-based role, ideally within a service or trades environment
Strong communication and organisational skills
Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications and file sharing platforms
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Confident, proactive, and able to manage a busy workload
Offering
£27,000 annual salary
Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm
28 days holiday (including public holidays)
