Are you an enthusiastic, well organised and versatile individual with great attention to detail? Do you want to use your knowledge and experience to help successfully implement marketing plans, support Residence Life and deliver successful student recruitment events?
We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Executive who can help us to demonstrate the great places we have for students to live, and to support us with making their stay in halls a fantastic experience.
Residential Services provides accommodation for around 8,500 University of Leeds students in self-catered and catered sites both on and off campus. We are an innovative service with a clear vision to provide some of the country’s best student accommodation.
As a support to the Accommodation Office and Residence Life teams you will assist with both promoting University accommodation and helping students to get the most out of their time in accommodation once they move in. You will take ownership of the Residence Life team’s social media channels, use them to promote the exciting opportunities available to residents in university accommodation to both prospective and current students and play a key role in the delivery of event activity
You should have some experience of working in a marketing role, a passion for social media, strong awareness of student trends, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. We are looking for a proactive individual who is keen to learn and progress in a marketing career.
Please note that due to Home Office visa requirements, this role is not suitable for first-time Skilled Worker visa applicants. Information on other visa options is available at: https://www.gov.uk/browse/visas-immigration/work-visas
