The Role:
We are seeking a proactive and strategic Operations & Finance Officer to support the General Manager in driving operational excellence and financial sustainability across our services. This pivotal role will contribute to the development and implementation of key strategies, policies, and protocols that ensure outstanding service delivery and achievement of performance targets.
The role includes direct management of two leisure centres, ensuring high standards of service, staff performance, and customer satisfaction. The management and co-ordination of the Trust’s financial resources to achieve Best Value, ensuring the development of service synergies and efficiencies.
In addition, a key aspect of this role is to deputise for the General Manager in their absence, ensuring continuity of leadership and decision-making across the organisation. The postholder will also act as Chair of the Leisure Trust Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) and assist the General Manager in union negotiations and consultation processes.

Requirements
This post is considered a Regulated Role with Children and Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2020 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here.
Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
