Role Overview
As a Pottery Studio Team Member, you’ll be the welcoming face of our creative space—guiding guests through a fun, hands-on pottery painting experience. You’ll support them from picking their piece to applying techniques, and you’ll take care of glazing and firing their final artwork. Every day brings something new, and your energy will help make each visit memorable.
Key Responsibilities
• Welcome and guide customers through the pottery painting experience.
• Glaze, load, and fire completed pottery pieces.
• Restock pottery items, supplies, and refreshments.
• Serve drinks and snacks in line with hygiene standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised studio environment.
• Handle payments and complete end-of-day cashing-up.
• Provide friendly, consistent customer service and manage feedback.
• Follow all health & safety, data protection, and company policies.
What We’re Looking For
• A positive attitude and a genuine passion for creativity and people
• A team player who’s organised, reliable, and adaptable
• Confidence in learning hands-on processes like glazing and firing (training provided)
• Basic experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or creative spaces is a bonus
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as required
