What skills and experience we're looking for

Contract: FTC until 31 August 2026Hours: 6.5 hours, one day a week

An exciting opportunity has arisen at The St Leonards Academy for a temporary Teacher of PE to teach Key Stage 3 and 4.

We are looking for someone with enthusiasm, presence and authority who can deliver consistently good or better lessons with a good understanding of the PE curriculum, as well as a team member who will collaborate with colleagues to ensure the process of students. You will also be required to supervise the girl's changing room.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

• Has a drive for excellence and a desire to be outstanding
• Is highly organised, motivated and driven to succeed
• Is a specialist in PE with the ability to teach all sports including netball, gymnastics, dance, football, fitness, rounders and athletics
• Is a team member who will collaborate with colleagues to ensure the progress of students
• Ideally has a proven track record of achieving outstanding results at GCSE and BTEC sport
• Has enthusiasm, presence and authority who can deliver consistently
