Key Responsibilities

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, or emotional and speech difficulties

  
  

• Work closely with class teachers to adapt learning activities and ensure all students can engage and succeed

  
  

• Encourage pupils to develop key life skills like confidence, independence, and communication

  
  

• Support behaviour management and contribute to a calm, inclusive learning environment

  
  

• Monitor progress and share insights with the SENCo and wider staff team

  
  What We’re Looking For

  We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate graduate who:

  • Holds a 2:1 or above in Psychology, Education, or a related subject

    
    

  • Has experience working with children or young people with SEN (in schools, care roles, or through volunteering)

    
    

  • Demonstrates a calm, empathetic, and flexible approach

    
    

  • Is genuinely interested in a long-term career in education, child development, or therapeutic support
