The Role
You’ll work closely with a primary-aged pupil with autism, providing consistent 1:1 support throughout the school day. You’ll help them stay engaged in lessons, manage transitions, and build key communication and social skills. Your work will be guided by the SENCO and class teacher, following a structured support plan tailored to the child’s needs.
The Candidate
You’re calm, patient and reliable, with a genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs. You might be a psychology or education graduate, or have experience in care, tutoring, or mentoring. Most importantly, you’re committed to helping one pupil succeed with confidence and consistency.
