Description
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic ASW - AMPH Social Worker (Band 3) to join our collaborative multidisciplinary team. In this vital role, you will provide invaluable support to individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges. As a key member of the Approved Mental Health Professional (AMPH) team, you will engage with clients who are experiencing crises, demonstrating a strong commitment to safeguarding their wellbeing and promoting recovery. The successful candidate will have a passion for social work and be adept at working with diverse populations. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, developing care plans, and liaising with healthcare providers, family members, and other stakeholders. You will be instrumental in advocating for clients’ rights and ensuring their voices are heard within the mental health system. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of individuals' mental health needs.
Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
Provide crisis intervention and support to individuals in distress.
Advocate for clients' rights and ensure their voices are heard throughout the mental health process.
Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and other agencies to coordinate care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions and planning.
Requirements
A recognized degree in social work or equivalent qualification.
Registered with Social Work England or equivalent professional body.
Experience in mental health services or related fields is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to mental health and social work.
Demonstrated skills in assessment, care planning, and crisis intervention.

Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £29.67
Location: Westminster, South West London
