Pay Rate: £95 - £115 per day (dependent on experience)

A well-resourced and supportive secondary SEN school in Lewisham is seeking a dedicated Autism Teaching Assistant to work within its specialist SEN units. You'll be supporting students aged 11-18 with Autism, Global Developmental Delay, ADHD, and physical disabilities.

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with complex needs

Assist with personal care and mobility where required

Support students with communication, emotional regulation, and classroom engagement

Work closely with SEN teachers and therapists to implement EHCP targets

Use specialist tools such as PECS, Makaton, or sensory strategies (training can be provided)
