Location: Southwark, South East London
Salary: £95 - £120 per day
Job Type: Long-term, Full-time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion for working with pupils on the autism spectrum?

Remedy Education are currently working with a fantastic primary SEN school in Southwark who are looking to appoint a dedicated and confident ASD Teaching Assistant to support students across Key Stages 1 and 2 from September.

The role will focus on supporting high-functioning pupils with ASD, helping to manage their learning, communication, and social development within the classroom environment.

Supporting students with high-functioning autism in 1:1 and small group settings

Working alongside the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored interventions

Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation

Supporting the delivery of EHCP targets and personalised learning plans

Monitoring student progress and reporting to teaching staff and parents where required

Experience supporting children with autism, ideally in a school or SEN setting

Team Teach, PECS or Makaton training is desirable but not essential
