Randstad Education is proud to be working with a specialist school in Surrey to recruit a dedicated Primary SEN Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to support children in Years 2-6 who require tailored support due to Autism and related communication difficulties.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to EHCPs
  • Build a consistent, structured classroom that promotes security and learning
  • Develop the child's communication, social, and emotional skills through targeted strategies
  • Collaborate closely with Teaching Assistants and other support staff to meet pupil needs
  • Monitor progress, adapt approaches, and celebrate every achievement
  • Foster an inclusive, respectful, and emotionally safe learning space
  • Work effectively with parents, carers, therapists, and external agencies

What We're Looking For
  • QTS, PGCE, or an equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience working with primary-aged children with Autism or related SEN
  • A strong grasp of EHCP implementation and tailored teaching methods
  • Calm, compassionate behaviour management strategies
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
