A Vacancy at East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust.
We are looking to appoint a Clinical Oncologist with Special Interest in Breast & Heamatology. This is a substantive appointment, based predominantly at the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in Northwood, Middlesex with commitments at Luton Hospital. The post comprises 9 programmed activities (PAs) and an on-call commitment.
This post is available immediately to provide site specific services to the local population and surrounding areas. Out-patient duties and SACT delivery will be at both sites. The post holder will also contribute to the AOS service at Luton. The post holder will be joining dynamic teams of
surgeons and oncologists with a significant national research reputation in both tumour sites.
• Maintenance of high-quality patient centered care
• Shared responsibility for the day-to-day management of the
service
• Teaching and training within the multidisciplinary service
• Active involvement in multidisciplinary team meetings and
directorate clinical governance activity
• Delivery and development of SACT and Radiotherapy
administration
• Active participation in continuing medical education
• Active participation in trial research activities
