I am delighted to present a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join an award-winning small animal practice located in a vibrant and historic market town in southwest Leicestershire. This full-time role offers a 40-hour working week with a 1:6 weekend rota at a sister 24-hour hospital, providing a well-balanced and supportive working schedule.
My client is seeking a dedicated veterinary professional who is confident in their clinical abilities and thrives in a team environment. You will be joining a practice that prides itself on delivering outstanding patient and client care, supported by an exceptional team and a well-equipped clinical environment. Facilities include digital and dental radiography, multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring, ultrasound, tonometry, an in-house laboratory, piped oxygen, and more. The practice has been an ISFM accredited Cat Friendly Clinic since 2017 and benefits from a separate cat waiting area, cat and dog wards, and an isolation facility, ensuring stress-free care for all patients.
As the ideal candidate, you will be RCVS registered with a strong background in small animal medicine and surgery. You’ll be confident in consultations and procedures, capable of providing clinical leadership, and committed to maintaining the highest levels of compliance and professional excellence.
The practice is based in a thriving town offering a perfect mix of countryside charm and urban convenience. Nestled between Leicester and Coventry, with easy access to motorway links and Birmingham Airport just 40 minutes away, the location is ideal for both work and leisure. The town itself offers a great selection of shops, independent cafes, restaurants, and a lively social scene.
If you’re looking for the next step in your veterinary career and would like to explore this exciting opportunity further, I would love to hear from you for an informal and confidential chat.
