The Command Support Pillar is responsible for the efficient management of the overall governance, finance, and people of the CSF enterprise. The role of CSF Governance and Assurance Support Officer is to support delivery of all outputs, ensuring that all governance and assurance is cohered, delivered efficiently, and that CSF are fully supported.
Tasks that the successful candidate will be required to do include:-
Support DCOS with Corporate Governance within the HQ and ensuring alignment with wider CSF Enterprise.
Day to day management of central assurance and recommendation tracker including dip sampling, cohering and analysing information. Liaising with units to conduct this work and collation of the resulting Learning from Experience (LfE)
Co-ordinate and manage CSFs management of MOD and Navy Command reporting structures (eg JIRA, Security Incident Reporting Forms Risk Balance Cases and My Safety) including undertaking elements of quality assurance to ensure thorough and accurate reporting. Undertake data collation and analysis from these sources to identify emerging themes and trends to highlight to SME’s within CSF.
Coherence of HQ Risk and Security working alongside military leads, ensuring they are au fait with current processes whilst providing continuity within the HQ and to deployed military leads when military elements of HQ deploy.
Day to day management of risk SharePoint and Team Sites including record management.
Act as Secretary for relevant meetings as required, including scheduling generation of agendas and production of minutes., and
Be an active member of the Rear Operations Group (ROG) when the HQ is activated and deployed, with the potential requirement to carry out additional tasking when the ROG is activated in support of operations.
Work with the Command Support Pillar to develop pan enterprise consistent ways of working.
