Are you an experienced Class 1 Night HGV Driver looking for work in the Uckfield area?
The Best Connection, a leading recruitment agency, is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Class 1 HGV Driver to support our valued client with ongoing delivery operations. This role offers consistent night shifts and the opportunity to work with a reputable logistics company.
Key Responsibilities Conducting thorough and regular vehicle safety checks in line with legal requirements. Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and returned promptly. Adhering to scheduled routes and timelines while maintaining safe driving standards. Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers. Representing both the client and The Best Connection in a professional manner. Requirements: Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence. Digital Tachograph (Tacho) card and Driver CPC (DQC) card. Maximum of six penalty points (minor endorsements only). Proven experience in a similar HGV Class 1 role. A good understanding of Drivers Hours Regulations and the Working Time Directive. Strong geographical knowledge of the UK, particularly trunking routes. Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused. Right to work in the UK. Access to a smart device for completing online registration and timesheets. What We Offer: Competitive hourly pay (details discussed during registration). Weekly pay - every Friday.
