The Role

Moody Sewage is hiring a Class 2 HGV Sewage Tanker Driver. You’ll be responsible for emptying septic tanks, cesspits, and similar systems, transporting the waste to licensed disposal sites. This is a key role where safety, efficiency and professionalism are essential.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checks.
• Operate a vacuum tanker safely and within legal driving limits.
• Record hours using a tachograph and submit data weekly.
• Empty sewage systems without spillages.
• Complete digital waste transfer notes accurately.
• Report faults and communicate clearly with the office.
• Provide a courteous and professional service on every job.

The Person
• Holds a valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Has an up-to-date Driver CPC card.
• Experienced in operating vacuum tankers or similar HGV vehicles.
• Understands driving regulations and tachograph use.
• Comfortable working alone and managing jobs efficiently.
• Clear communicator, with a practical, hands-on attitude.
• Able to use mobile apps and troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
